Rating: 4 stars out of 5. The last star? Let's just say Four's fellow books let it down.

Synopsis: Four is the final book in 'The Divergent Series', told completely from the character, Four's, perspective. ( No, Four is just a nickname, how he got it? That's for you to find out! ) The other three books in the series are Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant. With Divergent and Insurgent told from Tris's perspective and Allegiant told from both, Tris and Four's perspective. Four is quite different.
Extra information: Four is about how Four transitioned into the world of Divergent and chose his faction. ( Read about those in my Divergent review. ) As Divergent is about Tris's journey, Four's journey has major differences. Four's journey is full of fear, yet full of leadership and being the best. Four is all about Four's achievements, feelings, enemies and friends, but most importantly, how he and Tris met when he got the job of being her initiation instructor. ( He refused the job of the Dauntless faction leader.) The book only feautres Tris toward the end, but fully talks about her in the last few pages.
Review: Four is one of the best books in the series, I highly recommend it. It was a fearful, yet gripping book. It would deserve 5 stars had Insurgent and Allegiant been slightly better. However, not taking heed of the other books in the series, Four is a touching book. The feelings have been vividly described by Roth, making the reader feel just the way the character feels. If you don't like sad, heart - breaking and action - packed books then Four is going to change your mind.
